About Our Industry
Established in 1976, Mihir Engineers was the first company in India to manufacture FRP cooling towers, replacing conventional wooden towers with a pioneering, eco-friendly design that the industry has followed ever since. In 1976, we also gave India its first Round Bottle Shaped counterflow FRP cooling tower.
In 1992, we collaborated with GEA Polacel of The Netherlands to develop the rectangular counterflow CM series, bringing international technology to Indian manufacturing. Today, with over 35,000 towers commissioned across process industries, power plants, and infrastructure projects in India and abroad, Mihir continues to set the benchmark for economy, performance, durability and reliability.

With 45+ years of experience, Mihir delivers totality in respect of economy, performance, durability, aesthetic look and dependability. Our pultruded structures are manufactured at our own in-house facility and tested and certified by IIT Madras — giving us complete control over design, manufacturing and quality that few cooling tower makers in India can match. We are a proud member of the Cooling Technology Institute (CTI).
We needed a cooling tower solution that could handle highly corrosive conditions without the cost of a stainless steel structure. The FRP design delivered exactly that, and installation was completed faster than we expected.
From the first site visit to final commissioning, the team stayed on top of every detail. The tower has been running reliably since installation, and their after-sales support has made maintenance straightforward.
