Every project starts with technical groundwork. Our in-house pultrusion facility gives us complete control over design, manufacturing and quality — control that few cooling tower makers in India can offer. All our pultruded profiles are tested and certified by IIT Madras.

Our History
From a single pioneering idea in 1976 to becoming India's most trusted name in cooling towers — our history is one of continuous innovation, built one milestone at a time.
Established in 1976, Mihir Engineers was the first company in India to manufacture FRP cooling towers, introducing the country's first Round Bottle Shaped counterflow FRP tower the same year. In 1992, we collaborated with GEA Polacel of the Netherlands to develop the rectangular counterflow CM series. In 2002, we combined FRP with RCC for large-capacity cooling in process industries and power plants. In 2006, we introduced large-capacity RCC cooling towers for greater strength and design flexibility. And in 2008, we launched Pultruded FRP (PM series) — covering everything from clean water to sea water applications.
We needed a cooling tower solution that could handle highly corrosive conditions without the cost of a stainless steel structure. The FRP design delivered exactly that, and installation was completed faster than we expected.
