The RCM Series is our range of RCC Counterflow cooling towers, engineered for durability and lower operating costs at scale. A unique center RCC column supports the motor and gearbox on a common mounting frame, avoiding the vibration issues caused by transmission-shaft misalignment in conventional designs.
This center-column concept also keeps the casing and FRP fan section independent of the rotating parts — motor, gearbox and fan — for easier maintenance and a more stable structure overall. By using an increased quantity of fills to raise the wetted surface area, the RCM Series reduces power consumption and operating cost, while an FRP fan stack option cuts down on-site RCC work for faster execution. Cooling capacity runs up to 4,000 m³/hr/cell.
Benefit of Service
Center RCC column avoids vibration from motor-gearbox shaft misalignment
Casing and FRP fan section stay independent of rotating components
Extra fill quantity increases wetted surface area, lowering power consumption
FRP fan stack option reduces on-site RCC work for faster execution
Corrosion-Resistant Structure
Structural supports in Pultruded FRP with MSHDG hardware (stainless steel optional) — built for highly corrosive applications.
Faster Execution
Minimum site activities and low operating weight mean quicker installation with less on-site work.
Energy Efficient
Aerofoil-shaped, hollow FRP fan blades on an induced-draft counterflow design for optimum airflow efficiency.
High Cooling Capacity
Engineered to cool up to 4,000 m³/hr/cell, with a continuously formed casing for a smooth finish on both sides.
More information
Center RCC Column Design
Motor and gearbox are directly coupled on a common mounting frame supported on a center RCC column, eliminating vibrations from transmission-shaft misalignment.
Entire Fill Load Rests on RCC Structure
The full load of PVC fills is carried by the RCC structure, adding to the tower's overall stability and long-term durability.
FRP Fan Stack Option
The fan stack/section can be supplied in FRP, reducing onsite RCC activity and increasing both work productivity and execution speed.
